Joanne Martin

Joanne Martin initiated and coordinated a Provincial Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) which responded to numerous crises from 1999 until her retirement in 2009.

Trained by the National Organization for Victim Assistance ( NOVA) through the US Federal Department of Justice at basic and advanced levels. Joanne pursued further education and ongoing training in the field of traumatology with Bill Tibbo, Dr. Toby Snelgrove, Raymond Lafond and the Canadian Training Institute.

Joanne is a trained facilitator with more than 23 years of experience in designing and delivering workshops in various settings, including International work. In addition she provides first aid/ CPR /AED training across Ontario and has recently trained 17 new Instructors for Certified Emergency Response Training (CERT).
